I had an interesting interaction at Petco yesterday. The woman that was checking me out was putting bills in the cash register. When she opened the cash register, she looked at the one dollar bill tray and noticed that they were all out of order. She said somebody’s been messing with the bill tray. She said “I think they do it on purpose because they know it bothers me. I like to have every bill in order”. And a thought immediately entered my mind.
“Then don’t let it bother you!!”
That’s an easy solution. You can’t control what other people are going to do, but you can sure control how you respond to it. It’s your choice to let it bother you or to not let it bother you. You’ve solved the problem completely if you JUST DON’T LET IT BOTHER YOU!!! It’s all about the mindset.
