STEP 3 MEDITATION

If you would have told me 2 years ago that I would spend time every morning in meditation, I would have laughed at you. But I have come to realise the potent weapon that meditation is for my mind. Our brains are constantly bombarded with all kinds of thoughts. Some bad and some good. Some toxic and some nourishing. But if we are able to spend time every day breaking free from the constant static the world broadcasts and allow God to transform our mind we see our purpose more clearly! We can initiate the transformation process that brings us to the point of maximising our potential. I find this time critical every morning to set the intention of my day. I usually pick a passage of scripture I have just read and then spend 10-15 minutes quieting my mind and focusing on what God is trying to say to me at that time. I let all other thoughts come and go and focus on the truth I am holding onto at that time. This is the real process of renewing for my mind.
