PHYSIOLOGIC SIGH

The "physiologic sigh" is a breathing technique to reduce stress in your body. It is probably the most effective stress reducing technique, in the moment, that is known. It involves taking an inhale through your nose and then a second quick inhale through your nose followed by a long exhale through your mouth. This blows off more carbon dioxide by opening the small airways that have collapsed before you do the long exhale.
