A SOFT PLACE TO LAND
I sat on a bench in the park. It was a sunny Saturday morning. The wind barely blew, but every so often as I sat on that bench and meditated the wind would blow a little stronger and leaves would fall from the trees, and I sat quietly in solitude and watched the leaves. Some would flutter to the ground and topple end over end. Some would spin in a beautiful arc gracefully falling to the ground. It seems like for most of our lives. We’re all falling in one way or another just looking for a safe place to land. I pray that as we fall, we learn to fall gracefully with transparency and authenticity and vulnerability; Understanding that each, and every one of us is just a leaf looking for a soft place to land.
